Working with Me

Working with Me

01

Start with a Consultation

First, we will meet for a 15-minute consultation so I can hear more about your symptoms and reasons for starting therapy at this time. I will also share about my style, explore and set expectations, and review pricing/schedule. If we are a good fit, we can schedule our first session.

02

Getting to Know You

In our first session, we will work through the intake questionnaire and I will acquire all necessary information to start our therapy work together. At this session we will talk about frequency of the sessions and determine your preliminary goals.

03

Beginning Treatment

During our initial 60-minute sessions we will start setting goals, talking through your thoughts and feelings in the context of what you’re hoping to improve, and you will walk away from the sessions with resources or homework that are applicable to you.

Once we start working together, you’ll get access to a secure client portal through my practice platform, Jane. You can use it to manage appointments, handle billing, and download superbills if needed.

Sliding Scale

I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots. Feel free to reach out if cost is a concern — I’m happy to talk through options.

Out-of-Network Support

I can help support you through the process of getting reimbursed in a timely manner with the help of Thrizer. Thrizer works by acting as a payment method that links with your health insurance to verify how much your insurance will cover for out-of-network therapy.
